THAT the Council of the Town of Minto receives the Township of Howick correspondence regarding School Bus Stop Arm Cameras resolution from North Perth: AND FURTHER that Council of the Town of Minto endorse the resolution from the Municipality of North Perth and directs the Clerk to draft an endorsement letter to be circulated to Premier Doug Ford, Attorney General Doug Downey, Minister of Education Stephen Lecce, Provincial opposition parties, Mathew Rae MPP and the Association of the Municipalities of Ontario.

THAT Council of the Town of Minto receives the Town of Essex correspondence regarding the Reinstatement of Legislation Permitting a Municipality to Retain Surplus Proceeds from Tax; AND FURTHER that Council direct the Clerk to send a letter to all relevant taxation bodies, including the Ministry of Municipal Affairs, the Ministry of Finance, Wellington County Council, MPP Matthew Rae and the Association of the Municipalities of Ontario urging them to re-instate previous legislation that permitted a Municipality to apply for and retain the surplus proceeds from a tax sale in their jurisdiction.
