THAT Council of the Town of Minto receives report FIN 2023-005 regarding the 2023 Insurance Program Renewal and approves the renewal.

THAT Council of the Town of Minto supports Town of Essex, Letter of Support, Ontario School Board Elections. THAT a letter of support be sent to the Town of Essex, the Honourable Steven Lecce, Minister of Education and MPP Matthew Rae, Peth Wellington.

THAT Council receives the correspondence as information.

_____________________________________________________________________________________________ February 28, 2023 Council Minutes 5 THAT the Council of the Town of Minto recommends the County of Wellington Land Division Committee approve the Consent Application for B150/22 – Barry Heinmiller, for land legally describe as Concession 1, Part Lot 23, with a municipal address of 65 Lorne St N, Palmerston, in the Town of Minto, and that the following conditions be considered: 1. THAT the owner/applicant satisfies all the requirements of the Town of Minto, financial and otherwise, which the Town of Minto may deem to be necessary for the proper and orderly development of the subject lands, including but not limited to, the payment of any monies owed to the Town of Minto, and that all accounts are in good standing; and further that the Town of Minto file with the Secretary-Treasurer of the Planning and Land Division Committee a letter of clearance of this condition. 2. THAT the owner enters into an Agreement that should the existing driveway currently used by the owner to access Lorne St become compromised, it is the owners sole responsibility to install a new driveway connecting to Mary St over the portion of land to be conveyed to the Town; and further that the Town of Minto file with the Secretary-Treasurer of the Planning and Land Division Committee a letter of clearance of this condition. 3. THAT Council of the Town of Minto receives report PW 2023-007 regarding Bulk Water Taking Annual Summary 2022 for information.

THAT Council of the Town of Minto receives report PW 2023-008 regarding well exploration ongoing in Harriston and Palmerston for information.

THAT Council of the Town of Minto receives report FIN 2023-004 regarding 2022 Council Remuneration for information.

THAT Council of the Town of Minto receive report CAO 2023-002 regarding the Harriston Arena Park as information.

THAT the Committee of the Whole convenes into Regular Council.

THAT the Council of the Town of Minto ratifies the motions made in the Committee of the Whole.

THAT The Council of the Town of Minto adjourns to meet again at the call of the Mayor.

THAT Town of Minto Committee of Adjustment approves the application by Jonathan Brubacher for property legally described as MINTO CON C PT LOT 63 RP 61R20295 PART 1, municipally known as 5364 Highway 9, in the Town of Minto, to provide relief from Section 6.1.2 c) to permit for a minimum rear and interior lot line setback of 1.8 m (6.0 ft) for the proposed accessory structure addition and Section 6.1.4 b) for a maximum ground floor area of all accessory structures on the property of 4,880 ft².
