THAT The Council of the Town of Minto receives the Trees for Minto Committee Minutes of February 20, 2020 and approves any recommendations contained therein.

THAT Council of the Town of Minto receives the 2020 Annual Safety Update and approves the Health & Safety Policy Statement, MSD Prevention Policy and the Hazard Recognition & Control Policy.

THAT Council of the Town of Minto receives the Chief Building Official’s Site Alteration By-law report for information and considers passing a Site Alteration By-law in open Council.

THAT Council of the Town of Minto receives the Roads and Drainage Manager’s February 27, 2020 report Harriston Arthur St East and Lawrence St Tender; AND FURTHER THAT the tender be awarded to Moorefield Excavating at a price of $1,997,452.45, plus HST. _____________________________________________________________________________________________ March 3, 2020 Council Minutes 3

THAT Council of the Town of Minto receives the February 25th report from the Treasurer regarding 2019 Council Remuneration for information.

THAT Council of the Town of Minto receives the Treasurer’s report regarding Approval of Accounts, and approves accounts by Department for February 21, 2020 as follows: Administration $68,285.31, People & Property $42,699.47, Health Services $10,805.11, Building $6,179.93, Economic Development $1,594.72, Fire $7,659.78, Drains $37,320.50, Roads $63,309.21, Streetlights $1,792.71, Wastewater $8,229.45, Water $7,947.42, Recreation $7,686.80, Facilities & Parks $12,045.44, Norgan $4,028.96 for a total of $279,584.81.

THAT the Committee of the Whole convenes into Regular Council meeting.

THAT the Council of the Town of Minto ratifies the motions made in the Committee of the Whole.

THAT By-law 2020-16; to Prohibit or Regulate the Removal of Topsoil, the Placing or Dumping of Fill and the Alteration of the Grade of Land; be introduced and read a first, second, third time and passed in open Council and sealed with the seal of the Corporation.

THAT By-law 2020-17; to appoint Mark Potter Deputy Treasurer for The Corporation of the Town of Minto effective March 9, 2020; be introduced and read a first, second, third time and passed in open Council and sealed with the seal of the Corporation.

THAT By-law 2020-18; To confirm actions of the Council of the Corporation of the Town of Minto Respecting a meeting held March 3, 2020; be introduced and read a first, second, third time and passed in open Council and sealed with the seal of the Corporation.

THAT the Council of the Town of Minto adjourn to meet again at the call of the Mayor.
